About the role

As a Behavioral Health Specialist, Adolescent Psychiatry, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to adolescents and their families. This includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adolescent patients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide psychotherapy sessions and other therapeutic interventions as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in adolescent psychiatry.

Requirements

  • M.D. or Ph.D. in Psychology, Psychiatry, or a related field.
  • Current license to practice as a Psychologist or Psychiatrist in the state of Ohio.
  • Experience working with adolescents and their families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatments for adolescent mental health disorders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
