About the role

As a Behavioral Health Specialist, Adolescent Psychiatry, you will provide comprehensive care to adolescents and their families. This includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy sessions. You will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adolescent patients.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to support emotional and behavioral health.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and address complex patient needs.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in adolescent psychiatry.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
  • Current license to practice as a mental health professional in the state of Ohio.
  • Experience working with adolescents and their families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in adolescent mental health.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatments for adolescent psychiatric disorders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills and ability to build rapport with adolescents and their families.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
