About the role

MaineHealth is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 for all eligible Behavioral Health Clinicians hired into a Full or Part-time position. Bonus amounts prorated for Part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 3 months of separation from employment.

Level I: Behavioral Health Clinician I (Conditional License)

This role involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs under direct clinical supervision to work towards independent licensure.

Key responsibilities

  • Conducting assessments
  • Developing treatment plans
  • Providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions
  • Maintaining clinical records
  • Collaborating with community providers
  • Participating in team meetings to ensure effective treatment and discharge planning

Required qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field
  • LMSW-cc, LCPC-c, or LMFT-c from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR)
  • Behavioral health experience including internship prior to becoming a conditionally licensed clinician

Level II: Behavioral Health Clinician II (Independent License)

This role involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs under an independent license.

  • Providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions

Required qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field
  • Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR)
  • At least two years of behavioral health experience including employment as a conditionally licensed clinician

Pay

  • Level I: $66,123.20 to $89,481.60 per year
  • Level II: $71,448.00 to $96,636.80 per year
  • Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE)
