About the role
The Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinician plays a crucial role in providing therapeutic services to individuals and families in need. This position requires a deep understanding of behavioral health principles and the ability to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans for assigned clients
- Provide individual and family therapy and other support services
- Assist the treatment team in evaluating clinical services
- Implement, coordinate, monitor, document, and evaluate measurable treatment goals
- Maintain required productivity
- Participate in clinical staffing for clients
- Interact professionally with parents, school, medical personnel, and other stakeholders with professionalism and high levels of interpersonal and customer service skills
Requirements
- Master’s degree required, preferably in social work, psychology, counseling, or an applicable discipline
- LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT license required
- Minimum of 1 year of social work or counseling experience, with preference given to experience working with children with challenging behaviors, developmental, and/or emotional disabilities
- Valid Indiana driver’s license and a driving record meeting Damar’s insurance carrier’s eligibility requirements (for positions requiring driving)
- Clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect, or other disqualifying criminal convictions
- Successfully complete a pre-employment physical
- Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening requirements
Qualifications
- Experience working with children with challenging behaviors, developmental and/or emotional disabilities is desired

- Excellent organizational and time management skills
