For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 for all eligible Behavioral Health Clinicians! Eligible candidates are hired into a full or part-time position. Bonus amount is prorated for part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth members are ineligible until greater than 3 months of separation from employment.

About the Role

The Behavioral Health Clinician I, working under a conditional license, provides comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions. The role also involves maintaining clinical records, collaborating with community providers, and participating in team meetings to ensure effective treatment and discharge planning. The clinician will work under direct clinical supervision to progress toward independent licensure.

Schedule

  • 40 hours per week
  • Full-time, day shift

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or a related field
  • Maine state licensure to practice as one of the following:
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • Licensed Masters Social Worker - Clinical Conditional (LMSW-CC)
    • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
    • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor - Conditional (LCPC-c)
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - Conditional (LMFT-c)
  • Behavioral health experience, including internship prior to becoming a conditionally licensed clinician

Pay

  • Base pay range: $71,448.00 to $96,636.80 per year (full-time)
  • Part-time compensation is prorated based on scheduled hours and full-time equivalent (FTE)
