Clinician - Outpatient Behavioral Health

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches.
  • Tailor interventions using strengths-based and culturally responsive practices.
  • Support clients experiencing challenges related to mental health, substance use, and social determinants of health.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (case managers, peer support) and external partners (schools, primary care, courts).
  • Coordinate care and participate in case consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Maintain strong communication with referral sources and stakeholders to ensure continuity of care.
  • Complete all clinical documentation including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, safety plans, and discharge summaries.
  • Ensure compliance with agency standards, MassHealth requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in audits, reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in weekly clinical supervision and ongoing training opportunities.
  • Maintain or pursue clinical licensure as applicable.
  • Contribute to agency initiatives focused on trauma-informed care, equity, and staff wellness.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
  • Licence-eligible (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist).
  • CANS Certification.
  • Valid driver’s license (Class C or D).
