Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults, including crisis intervention as needed.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop person-centered treatment plans aligned with best practices.
- Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans as clinically indicated.
- Deliver care that is safe, ethical, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and aligned with evidence-based models.
- Coordinate care and referrals with community agencies, schools, and other behavioral health providers to support continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with organizational, regulatory, and payer standards.
- Participate in supervision (if applicable), case consultation, and departmental meetings.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, maintaining licensure and required continuing education.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
- Active North Carolina license as LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LCAS, and/or LP (full license required; provisionally licensed applicants may be considered based on program needs).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Demonstrated training and experience in evidence-based psychotherapies.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Commitment to ethical practice, cultural humility, and patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Two or more years of outpatient behavioral health experience.
- Experience providing therapy to diverse populations.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation standards.
