About the role
Serve as a licensed professional on the emergency/acute care clinical team to conduct psychiatric risk assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and provide support to patients and families in both Medical and Psychiatric Emergency Departments.
Responsibilities
- Perform psychiatric evaluations and risk assessments
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure patient-centered care
- Maintain licensure and adhere to clinical standards
Requirements
- Master’s or higher degree in social work, psychology, or related field
- Alaska clinical licensure or equivalent upon hire
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical mental health experience
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
