About the role

The Behavioral Consultant - Applied Behavior Analysis position is responsible for providing evidence-based interventions to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to inform intervention strategies.
  • Provide direct therapy services to children in a variety of settings including schools, homes, and community centers.
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective implementation of treatment plans.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new research in ABA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with ASD.
  • Knowledge of ABA techniques and principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with data collection and analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

  • Excellent observational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
