About the role
The Behavioral Consultant - Applied Behavior Analysis position is responsible for providing evidence-based interventions to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to inform intervention strategies.
- Provide direct therapy services to children in a variety of settings including schools, homes, and community centers.
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective implementation of treatment plans.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new research in ABA.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with ASD.
- Knowledge of ABA techniques and principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field preferred.
- Experience with data collection and analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
