About the role
The Licensed Behavior Analyst is responsible for planning and implementing Applied Behavior Analysis treatment plans for St. Mary’s Kids @ Roslyn Department. Supports the mission to provide the highest quality care by complying with regulatory guidelines, meeting facility standards, and obtaining appropriate certification.
Responsibilities
- Complete assessments including the VB-MAPP, AFLS, SKILLS, and FBAs
- Write reports as led by assessment, including treatment plans and behavior intervention plans
- Analyze goal and behavior data
- Provide direct and indirect supervision to ABA Therapists and RBTs
- Develop and monitor treatment plans, including creating programs and stimuli
- Provide Parent Training as approved by funder
- Provide feedback to staff when opportunities for improvement/excellence are observed
- Submit written reports within established time frames
- Foster practices consistent with the organization’s mission, vision and values; and family-centered care
- Provide adequate opportunity for staff training and education
- Work afternoons and evenings, if needed or requested
- Participate in regular department meetings with staff
Requirements
- Formal education required:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education or a related field
- BCBA and LBA required
- At least 3 years of experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities
- Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing Behavioral Intervention Plans for individuals with challenging behavior
- Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing skill acquisition treatment plans for individuals with developmental disabilities
