Licensed Behavior Analyst - $1,500 Sign on bonus

About the role

The Licensed Behavior Analyst is responsible for planning and implementing Applied Behavior Analysis treatment plans for St. Mary’s Kids @ Roslyn Department. Supports the mission to provide the highest quality care by complying with regulatory guidelines, meeting facility standards, and obtaining appropriate certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments including the VB-MAPP, AFLS, SKILLS, and FBAs
• Write reports as led by assessment, including treatment plans and behavior intervention plans
• Analyze goal and behavior data
• Provide direct and indirect supervision to ABA Therapists and RBTs
• Develop and monitor treatment plans, including creating programs and stimuli
• Provide Parent Training as approved by funder
• Provide feedback to staff when opportunities for improvement/excellence are observed
• Submit written reports within established time frames
• Foster practices consistent with the organization’s mission, vision and values; and family-centered care
• Provide adequate opportunity for staff training and education
• Work afternoons and evenings, if needed or requested
• Participate in regular department meetings with staff

Requirements

• Formal education required:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education or a related field
  • BCBA and LBA required
• At least 3 years of experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities
• Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing Behavioral Intervention Plans for individuals with challenging behavior
• Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing skill acquisition treatment plans for individuals with developmental disabilities
