About the Role

A Behavior Technician provides one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism and special needs under BCBA supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Implement evidence-based ABA techniques according to individualized treatment plans.
  • Teach and reinforce social, communication, and behavioral skills in a structured environment.
  • Build positive therapeutic relationships with clients and their families.
  • Conduct assessments, collect data, and monitor progress to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Collaborate with BCBAs and interdisciplinary team members to review and adjust treatment plans.
  • Communicate progress and strategies to parents/caregivers, promoting skill generalization.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes.
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance ABA therapy skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Passion for working with children on the autism spectrum and special needs.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to individual client needs and implement appropriate strategies.
  • Openness to feedback and professional growth.

Schedule

Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
