Description of Duties
- Provides clinical skill and behavior reduction support to children who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and/or related developmental disabilities in the home setting.
- Utilize principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to implement treatment plans.
- Aid in parent training.
- Be a support/advocate for the families of the children receiving services.
Requirements
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Valid Connecticut driver's license
- 2-3 years of experience
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
Qualifications
- Provides intervention supports to families for the benefit of the child
- Provides data and input as needed
- May function under regular supervision by a professionally licensed or certified personnel
- Reports to work as scheduled
- Valid Connecticut driver's license
- Able to keep documentation of services
