About the role
Strive ABA Therapy is seeking Behavior Technicians (R/BTs) to provide home-based direct treatment to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The R/BT will implement specific treatment plans designed to address the child's needs for behavioral management, social, daily living, and community skills under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans as outlined in the treatment plan
- Provide direct therapy sessions in the client's home environment
- Document sessions and progress in the client's treatment records
- Communicate regularly with the BCBA and other team members about the client's progress
- Ensure compliance with all safety and ethical guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months experience with children that have disabilities
- Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel up to one hour from your residence to provide services to clients, if applicable
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Able to meet the physical demands of the job which may include periods of sitting and standing as needed
