Location: Richmond, VA (Central Richmond area). Travel may include up to 90 minutes one way.

Work Shift: First (Days), standard working hours 8am to 5pm EST, Monday through Friday.

About the Role

This position will work with members under Sentara Health Plans who are both medically and behaviorally complex. The role involves conducting in-person/face-to-face assessments and remote telephonic assessments for members with Serious Mental Illnesses, Serious Emotional Disturbances (ages 2+), and Substance Abuse Disorders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (required).
  • Valid state license in the state of practice. One of the following:
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP) or North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board (NCSWCLB).
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) – Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP) or North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors (NCBLCMHC).
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) – Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP) or North Carolina Marriage and Family Therapy Licensure Board (NCBMFT).
    • Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner (LSTAP) – Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP).
    • Registered Nurse (RN) – Single State or Multi-State license from Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP) or North Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON).
  • 2 years of behavioral health experience (required).
  • 1 year of case management experience (required).
  • 1 year of experience with Children/Adolescents (required).
