Before & After School Site Staff - Central Region
The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is seeking Before and After School Youth Workers to make a meaningful impact through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
About the role
Youth Workers assist in implementing programming and interact positively with parents, staff, and school personnel to develop trusting relationships. This position fosters social, physical, spiritual, and mental growth while demonstrating the core values of caring, honesty, responsibility, and respect with program participants.
Under the guidance of a Site Director, Youth Workers directly supervise a group of 6-12 children and engage them in high-energy activities throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing before and after school programming.
- Supervise and engage a group of 6-12 children in activities.
- Build trusting relationships with parents, staff, and school personnel.
- Foster social, physical, spiritual, and mental growth in participants.
- Demonstrate core values: caring, honesty, responsibility, and respect.
