Before & After School Site Director, South Region

The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is currently hiring Site Directors for Before and After School programs across Indianapolis and surrounding areas.

About the role

Site Directors provide management and leadership for the program. Responsibilities include developing a staff team, offering behavior management support for students, maintaining communication between staff and families, and creating innovative, inclusive lesson plans to foster daily learning and growth. The role emphasizes social, physical, spiritual, and mental development while demonstrating core values of caring, honesty, responsibility, and respect.

This position requires high levels of organization, energy, and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead Before and After School program operations
• Develop and mentor a staff team
• Provide behavior management support for students
• Maintain open communication between staff and families
• Create innovative, inclusive lesson plans to support student learning and growth
• Foster social, physical, spiritual, and mental development in program participants
• Demonstrate core values: caring, honesty, responsibility, and respect
