Various schools within the Hillsboro School District

Schedule

No Weekends! Monday-Friday 1:30 pm/2:00 pm -6:00 pm.

Pay & Benefits

Responsibilities

- Lead a fun and dedicated team of Guides that deliver excitement to our student Explorers in fitness, the arts, technology, and more! - Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site. - Train AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children's sense of wonder. - Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students' interests and talents. - Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive relationships among staff, children, parents, and the school are fostered at your program site.

Requirements

- Must have a Bachelor's degree (in a related field) or equivalent experience - Must be at least 21 years old - Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs - Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by Oregon childcare licensing regulations (CBR #) - Provide proof of experience as required by OR childcare licensing standards

Qualifications

- Strong leadership skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Passion for education and child development

Skills

- Ability to plan and implement educational programs - Knowledge of child development and learning theories - Experience working with children in a group setting
