The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is currently hiring for Before and After School programs across Indianapolis and surrounding areas. This role focuses on implementing programming and fostering social, physical, spiritual, and mental growth in children while demonstrating core values of caring, honesty, responsibility, and respect.
About the role
Youth Workers assist in program implementation, build trusting relationships with parents, staff, and school personnel, and directly supervise a group of children. Under the guidance of a Site Director, they engage children in high-energy activities throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing Before and After School program activities.
- Supervise and engage with a group of children in high-energy activities.
- Build positive relationships with parents, staff, and school personnel.
- Foster social, physical, spiritual, and mental growth in program participants.
- Demonstrate core values: caring, honesty, responsibility, and respect.
