Before & After School Site Staff

About the role

Youth Workers assist in the implementation of programming and interact positively with parents, other staff, and school personnel to develop trusting relationships. This position helps foster social, physical, spiritual, and mental growth while demonstrating the core values of caring, honesty, responsibility, and respect with program participants.

Under the guidance of a Site Director, Youth Workers are responsible for directly supervising a group of children while engaging with them in a variety of high-energy activities throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing Before and After School program activities
• Supervise and engage with children in high-energy activities
• Build trusting relationships with parents, staff, and school personnel
• Foster social, physical, spiritual, and mental growth in program participants
• Demonstrate core values: caring, honesty, responsibility, and respect
