Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a pod of 3–6 Business Development Representatives through daily stand-ups, call reviews, and performance coaching
- Carry an individual quota for qualified meetings, consistently modeling best-in-class outbound prospecting and sales execution
- Design, test, and optimize multi-channel outbound campaigns across email, phone, LinkedIn, video, and AI-powered outreach platforms
- Build and automate prospect segmentation, enrichment workflows, and lead management processes to maximize pipeline generation
- Partner closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and RevOps to refine ideal customer profiles, territory strategies, and lead handoff processes
- Analyze funnel performance metrics and present actionable insights and pipeline updates to sales leadership
- Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor new BDRs while building scalable playbooks and career development paths
- Develop AI-powered SDR workflows and automation strategies to improve conversion of low-intent inbound leads
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience managing Business Development or Sales Development teams, plus 2+ years of successful individual contributor performance
- Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding qualified meeting or pipeline generation targets
- Preferred experience prospecting into credit unions, community banks, or regional financial institutions
- Strong coaching and leadership skills with a passion for developing high-performing sales talent
- Exceptional outbound prospecting expertise across modern sales engagement platforms and technologies
- Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging metrics, experimentation, and performance analytics to drive results
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling, value-driven outreach messaging
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations teams
- Bay Area residency with the ability to work from the South Bay office 4–5 days per week
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in FinTech, SaaS, AI, or customer experience technology
- Experience with revenue intelligence, sales engagement, and intent data platforms
- Knowledge of the banking and financial services industry
- Familiarity with prompt engineering and leveraging generative AI tools to drive productivity and efficiency
- Experience building AI-driven SDR or sales automation workflows
Pay
