About the role
Shawnee Mission Kia is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Business Development Center (BDC) Representative to join their growing dealership team.
Responsibilities
- Handle all incoming internet, phone, and text inquiries promptly and professionally
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls to generate and confirm sales and service appointments
- Effectively communicate with prospective customers to understand needs and guide them toward scheduling dealership visits
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in the CRM system
- Work closely with the sales and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Meet or exceed monthly appointment-setting and show-rate goals
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude while working in a competitive, performance-driven environment
Qualifications
- Previous BDC experience in an automotive dealership OR proven success in a high-volume appointment setting or inside sales role
- Strong phone presence and excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated in a competitive environment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using CRM systems, email, and texting platforms
- Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of leads
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
- Availability to work Saturdays (mandatory) with a weekday off

- Total compensation range: $50,000–$60,000, including base salary and performance-based bonus potential
- Performance bonuses: $2,000+ annually (uncapped, based on results)
