About the role
We are currently accepting applications for a Baylor Med Cart Nurse within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. This position requires dedication to a job well done, dependability, flexibility, accountability, and a positive attitude is a must. Must enjoy working with our residents and families.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities of this position include medication administration
- Computer documentation including assessment of resident's current status
- Observation and reporting of any change in resident's status to MD/sponsors as necessary
- Ordering medications from pharmacy
- Supervision of CNA staff
- Wound care
- Collecting and processing lab samples
Qualifications
- LPN License or Temporary PN License
- Must pass background and drug screen
