Bassa Interpreter

LanguageLine Solutions is hiring interpreters to work remotely from their homes. The company provides training and opportunities for advancement in a variety of industries including healthcare, government, insurance, finance, utilities, travel, and business.

Responsibilities

• Handle interpreting sessions promptly and professionally
• Render accurate translations between Bassa and English speakers
• Adapt to different accents and cultural nuances
• Stay calm and professional during emotionally charged calls
• Follow client instructions and maintain confidentiality
• Provide services in healthcare, government, insurance, finance, and other sectors

Requirements

• Fluency in Bassa and English
• Cultural competency and understanding of regional dialects
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills
• Ability to handle sensitive topics and emergencies
• Education or work experience in language-related fields
• Work authorization in the United States
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and write in the requested languages

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Experience with LLS technology and systems
• Physical ability to operate a computer and keyboard

Pay

The pay rate is $0.75 - $0.90 per minute.

Schedule

This is a remote position where interpreters work from their home offices. A quiet and secure environment is essential.
