About the role

The role involves leading barre classes at the Jim & Heather Gills Branch YMCA. Responsibilities include developing and delivering high-energy, low-impact workouts that enhance flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular health.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver barre classes that are engaging and accessible to all participants.
• Ensure safety and proper technique during each class.
• Engage with participants to provide feedback and encourage their fitness journey.
• Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a positive and inclusive environment.

Requirements

• A degree in exercise science, physical education, or a related field is preferred.
• At least one year of teaching experience, preferably in group fitness settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Skills
