About the role

For Hank's Sake brings horses and children together through four themed learning stalls, each anchored by a real horse whose life story teaches a character value. Children learn the horsey handshake and discover the life stories of the horses.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet children and families at the learning stalls.
• Facilitate equine-assisted reading experiences.
• Provide literacy kits to children.
• Ensure safety and comfort for all participants.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience working with children is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with children.
• Good communication skills.
• Comfortable around horses.

Skills

• Patience and empathy.
• Ability to handle unexpected situations calmly.
• Basic computer skills (for online scheduling).

Pay

Schedule
