POSITION SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Prepares all syrups, mixes, and garnishes
• Maintain opening/closing liquor, beer, wine and consumables par
• Aid in loading/unloading of miscellaneous equipment
• Keep bar top and back bar clean and organized
• Circulate through work area to maintain atmosphere control
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests courteously
• Monitor potentially intoxicated guests and report to manager
• Comply with safety and health department procedures
• Adhere to state and federal liquor laws
• Follow TC Restaurant Group Standard Operating Procedures

IN ADDITION TO THE AFOREMENTIONED ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, THE BARBACK WILL BE EVALUATED ON THE FOLLOWING LEADERSHIP QUALITIES:

• Ability to access and operate business applications
• Report any incidents of theft, vandalism, violations, or guest complaints/incidents

WORK REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• 21+ years of age
• State required work cards, including ABC Servers Permit
• Knowledge of basic bar and restaurant operations
• Knowledge of drink recipes and proper garnish, cutting, and presentation
• Proper lifting techniques
• Inventory and stock rotation

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Indoor and/or outdoor areas
• Unusually hot, cold, noisy environments
• Small areas with 3 ft. access
• Exposure to day life/nightlife environmental factors
• Constant contact with guests and fellow Team Members
• Varying shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Work may exceed 30 hours per week and may include overtime
