Bankruptcy Associate (1-2 Years Experience) - Minneapolis, MN
About the role
We are seeking a Bankruptcy Associate to join our Minneapolis office. Our Ideal Candidates Will Have 1-2 years of experience with bankruptcy cases, out-of-court restructurings or workouts, or other insolvency proceedings and issues.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the representation of clients in bankruptcy cases, out-of-court restructurings, or workouts
- Prepare and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and analyze case law and statutes
- Work closely with clients and colleagues to develop and implement strategies
- Prepare and present oral arguments before courts and tribunals
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills
- Strong academic background
- J.D. from an ABA-Accredited Law School
- Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and ability to promptly get admitted in the state of Minnesota
Qualifications
- Experience with bankruptcy cases, out-of-court restructurings or workouts, or other insolvency proceedings and issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Proficiency in legal software and technology

Pay
The salary range for this position varies by geographical market. In Minneapolis, the estimated starting annual pay range is $200,000 - $205,000 per year. The compensation offered will be dependent on the candidate’s experience, skills, education, professional background, overall qualifications, and geographic market location.
