Responsibilities

• Respond to customers' needs accurately and timely, using available resources and tools.
• Evaluate client needs and offer appropriate financial products and services through needs‑based conversations to build and deepen relationships.
• Perform routine teller transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, and other transactions.
• Support segmentation strategy by implementing sales, retention, and other bank initiatives to achieve growth and profitability objectives.
• Achieve and exceed individual and team goals in sales, service, and operations.
• Maintain compliance with Federal and State regulations, bank policies, and procedures; meet or exceed branch audits and operations evaluation requirements.
• Assist with supervision of banking center colleagues, providing coaching support to fellow bankers.
• Act as a role model and help onboard new bankers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–4 years of customer service and needs‑based banking sales experience preferred.
• 0–2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and motivating staff.
• Working knowledge of all Santander products and services.
• Current familiarity with branch transaction processing systems.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to support teamwork, creating a positive work environment.
• Ability to work a flexible and/or rotating schedule, including potential Saturdays, Sundays, extended hours, and travel to alternate banking centers.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States on a full‑time basis without employer sponsorship.

Working Conditions

• Frequent minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking.
• Occasional moving and lifting of light equipment and/or furniture, depending on location.
