Backend Software Engineer - Assistant Vice President

Responsibilities

• Building cloud native services using Python and Scala using open-source frameworks such as FastAPI, ZIO etc.
• Unit and integration test development using Scala Test, ZIO Test and PyTest
• Active participation in stand-up meetings
• Active participation in Peer Code Reviews as part of our standard SDLC and Change Management Process

Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering
• 6+ years of web-based application development experience
• Experience in Python, Scala or Node.js
• An understanding of how SSO works is a big plus
• Demonstrated understanding of relational or NoSQL database concepts and modeling practices
• Passion for actively learning new technologies
• Solid problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Collaborative approach to software development

Benefits

• The base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $170,000 depending on level.
