Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Design high-performing Java-based services in a complex system landscape
• Concept, design and implementation of modern solutions based on Spring Boot
• Contribute to the new technology stack as well as maintaining the existing legacy system
• Accompany software projects from draft until running them in production
• Document software architectures and transfer know-how
• Coach and develop more junior team members
• Perform code and design reviews to continuously improve quality

Requirements

• University degree (Bachelor/Master’s) and at least 2 years of proven professional experience in software development
• Strong development skills in Java 18–25 (Spring Boot) or .NET; experience solving complex problems and building scalable systems
• Strong database skills with solid SQL knowledge
• Knowledge of virtualization and containerized applications (Kubernetes or Docker)
• Experience with Git and Maven
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins
• Basic knowledge of Linux
• Good command of English (company language)
