Backend Engineer

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Java.
• Build and support RESTful APIs and integrations with databases.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Aid in troubleshooting and resolving backend issues.
• Contribute to code reviews and team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of backend development experience with Node.js and Java.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Exposure to version control systems (Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

Pay

The pay range for this role is: 50 - 55 USD per hour (Hybrid (Newark, California, US)).
