About the role

As a Back Up Scan Coordinator at Sprouts Farmers Market, you’ll work in a detail-oriented field while learning about new products. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about inspiring customers to make healthier choices through positive shopping experiences at one of the fastest-growing natural foods retailers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, including updating shelf signs and tags, promotional signs, and ensuring compliance with company and governmental regulations.
• Verify weekly ad price changes, promotional price accuracy, and pricing signage across all departments.
• Maintain overall price integrity in the store with speed and accuracy.
• Analyze total scanning programs and maintain necessary reports and schedules.
• Use billing and accounting principles and processes effectively.
• Interact with customers, employees, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 months of related experience and/or training, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent mathematical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
• Capable of reading price tags, creating signs, and posting price tags and signs. Good vision is required.
• Ability to use a computer, scanner, stapler, and step ladder.
• Physical ability to vertically/horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 17 lbs., from 1” to 34”, up to a distance of 8 feet for up to 1 hour.
• Walk up to 4 miles per 8-hour shift.
• Conduct repetitive crouching, kneeling, or squatting to access points 6 inches from the ground for up to 50 hours.
