About the role

Join Sprouts Farmers Market, one of the fastest-growing natural foods retailers, as a Back Up Scan Coordinator. This role focuses on maintaining price integrity in-store through meticulous attention to detail while supporting a positive shopping experience for customers seeking healthier choices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, including updating shelf signs and tags.
• Ensure compliance with company and governmental pricing regulations.
• Verify weekly ad price changes, promotional price accuracy, and pricing signage across all departments.
• Maintain necessary reports and schedules related to scanning programs.
• Interact professionally with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Use Microsoft Office, billing, and accounting principles to manage pricing updates.
• Read, create, and post price tags and signs; use a computer to activate new pricing.
• Perform physical tasks such as stapling, scanning, and using a step ladder.
• Handle boxes weighing up to 17 lbs., including vertical/horizontal transfers up to 8 feet.
• Walk up to 4 miles per 8-hour shift and perform repetitive crouching/kneeling/squatting for up to 50 hours.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 months of related experience and/or training, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and mathematical skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude for customer and team interactions.
• Ability to work varied hours/days based on business needs.
• Good vision to read and set signs; ability to use a computer and scanning equipment.
• Physical ability to handle tasks such as lifting, walking, and repetitive movements.

Pay

$16.20 - $21.85 per hour, based on applicable experience and qualifications.
