About the role

Join Sprouts Farmers Market, one of the fastest-growing natural foods retailers, as a Back Up Scan Coordinator. This role focuses on maintaining price integrity in-store through meticulous attention to detail while supporting a positive shopping experience for customers passionate about healthier choices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, including updating shelf signs and tags, promotional signs, and ensuring compliance with company and governmental regulations.
• Verify weekly ad price changes, promotional price accuracy, and pricing signage across all departments.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment to uphold pricing integrity.
• Analyze scanning programs, maintain necessary reports and schedules, and apply billing and accounting principles.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 months of related experience and/or training, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and mathematical skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude; ability to interact effectively with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
• Good vision and ability to read, create, and post price tags and signs; proficiency in using a computer, scanner, stapler, and step ladder.
• Physical ability to:
  • Vertically/horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 17 lbs., from 1” to 34”, up to a distance of 8 feet for up to 1 hour.
  • Walk up to 4 miles per 8-hour shift.
  • Conduct repetitive crouching, kneeling, or squatting to access points 6 inches from the ground for up to 50 hours.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $19.20 - $25.90 per hour, determined based on applicable experience and qualifications.
