AV Technician - CLT

Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 12+ Month Contract (Contract-to-Hire Opportunity)
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Pay: $30–$50 per hour

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual (AV) Support Engineer to support enterprise conferencing and collaboration technologies across a large healthcare environment. This individual will serve as the primary AV resource for facilities in the Charlotte, NC market, providing hands-on support for conference rooms, meeting spaces, and collaboration technologies used by healthcare professionals and executive leadership. The ideal candidate combines strong technical troubleshooting skills with excellent customer service and communication abilities. This role requires someone who can independently assess issues, engage vendors and technical teams when needed, and drive problems to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for AV and collaboration technologies across healthcare facilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving conference rooms, meeting spaces, and video conferencing systems.
• Support a broad range of room types, from small huddle spaces to large auditoriums and executive conference rooms.
• Perform break/fix support, hardware replacement, system testing, and preventive maintenance.
• Assist with new room deployments, installations, commissioning activities, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Coordinate with vendors, engineering teams, and facility stakeholders during implementations and escalations.
• Support end users with meeting room technologies and provide basic training as needed.
• Ensure conferencing systems, room accounts, and peripheral devices are functioning properly.
• Document issues, resolutions, and support activities.
• Travel between healthcare facilities within the assigned geography as required.
