AV Technician
Overview
We are seeking an acustomer-focused AV Onsite Technician to provide white-glove audiovisual support within a technology campus environment. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for end users, ensuring conference rooms, meeting spaces, and AV technologies are fully functional and supported.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite AV support for tenants and end users across conference rooms, meeting spaces, and collaboration environments.
- Aid with meeting planning, room setup, testing, and meeting kickoffs.
- Perform preventative maintenance on AV equipment to ensure optimal system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues related to audiovisual systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external technical resources to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Maintain meeting room functionality and proactively address potential concerns before they impact users.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible and approachable presence throughout the campus.
Requirements
- Experience supporting Audio Visual (AV) systems in a corporate or enterprise environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for AV hardware, software, and conferencing technologies.
- Experience with Crestron systems and Biamp audio technologies.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical teams.
- Experience supporting conference rooms, meeting spaces, and end-user technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting executive meetings and high-profile events.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, or similar collaboration technologies.
- Background in corporate audiovisual support or managed services environments.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Watertown, MA.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
