About the role
The AV Technician is responsible for the set-up, operation and maintenance of the audio and visual equipment for events.
Responsibilities
- Installation and operation of sound systems, lighting and video projects.
- Conduct tests to ensure functionality of audio-visual equipment to include TV’s, LCD displays, DVD players, video projectors, cameras, audio recorders, sound systems, and microcomputers.
- Troubleshoot and assist with repairs of high-tech electronic equipment.
- Maintain equipment inventory.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Nevada driver’s license that has been active for at least one year.
- Must be knowledgeable of audio, video systems and computers (Mac and PC).
- Able to lift 40 lbs.
- Able to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time.

The position is located within the Technical Services department.
Locations
The position is based at Peppermill Resort Hotel.
Employment Type
The position is available on a part-time and on-call basis.
Shift Preference
The position is available during day and swing shifts.
