Core responsibilities
- Direct A/V support for classrooms, academic spaces, and events
- Troubleshoot moderately complex A/V and classroom technology issues
- Supporting installations, setups, system status, and downtime procedures
Skills
- Streaming and web-conferencing knowledge
- Camera operation
- Understanding of room A/V equipment
- Portable sound reinforcement and video projection
- Strong customer service
- Adaptability, organization, communication, and flexibility
- Willingness to work extended hours when needed
Education
- Minimum qualifications: Associate’s degree plus 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination
- Experience with A/V and classroom controller hardware/software
- Technical knowledge of video and web conferencing tools
- Experience with both Windows and Apple systems
- Preferred qualifications: InfoComm CTS certification, experience in higher education A/V or technology support, experience training others on technology use
