AV Support Technician (Conference Room & Collaboration Technology)

As an AV Support Technician, you will be the go-to resource for conference room technology, meeting support, and end-user AV troubleshooting. Your primary focus will be ensuring employees, executives, faculty, staff, and guests have a seamless experience when utilizing meeting room and collaboration technology. We're seeking someone who enjoys working directly with people and solving technology issues in real time. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, customer-focused, and takes pride in creating a smooth experience for end users. You don't need to be a senior engineer or programmer to be successful in this role. We're looking for someone who can communicate well, think on their feet, provide excellent customer service, and confidently troubleshoot meeting room technology when issues arise. Located in Cambridge, MA. This is a 6‑month contract‑to‑hire position with an ASAP start date and requires onsite work 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Supporting conference rooms, boardrooms, training spaces, classrooms, and collaboration environments
• Troubleshooting Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and other conferencing platforms
• Providing white-glove support for important meetings and presentations
• Assisting users with audio, video, content sharing, and conferencing issues
• Troubleshooting displays, projectors, cameras, microphones, speakers, and related AV equipment
• Performing daily room readiness checks to ensure meeting spaces are operational
• Responding quickly to technology issues that could impact meetings and events
• Working with IT teams, facilities teams, and
