AV/IT Support Technician – Conference Room & AV Support

About the role

A growing technology services organization is seeking an IT Support Technician – Conference Room & AV Support to provide white-glove technology support within a corporate office environment in Watertown, MA.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop and technology support for employees and end users
• Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, monitors, peripherals, docking stations, and related hardware
• Support conference rooms, meeting spaces, and collaboration technologies
• Troubleshoot audiovisual systems including displays, cameras, microphones, speakers, and room control systems
• Support Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and other conferencing platforms
• Aid users with meeting launches, content sharing, wireless presentations, and video conferencing functionality
• Perform daily conference room readiness checks and proactively address issues before meetings begin
• Respond to technology support tickets and service requests in a timely manner
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate support teams when necessary
• Document incidents, resolutions, and recurring issues
• Cook up with internal teams and third-party vendors as needed
• Deliver a high-touch, white-glove support experience for employees, visitors, and leadership teams

Requirements

• 1–3 years of desktop support, IT support, help desk, or end-user support experience
• Experience supporting conference room technology and video conferencing systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and common desktop hardware
• Experience troubleshooting audiovisual and collaboration technologies
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, or similar platforms
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and support requests effectively
• Comfortable working directly with executives, employees, and visitors in a professional environment

Nice to have

• Experience with Crestron control systems and conference room technologies
• Experience supporting Extron, QSC, Biamp, Poly, Cisco, or similar AV solutions
• CTS certification or other AV-related certifications
• Experience working in an enterprise corporate environment
• Basic understanding of networking concepts related to AV and collaboration systems

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
