Responsibilities

  • Operate and assist autonomous vehicles while ensuring top-notch safety standards.
  • Adapt to ever-changing environments with quick thinking and a calm demeanor.
  • Monitor and report on vehicle operations using software systems, laptops, and smartphones.
  • Provide excellent service to passengers and the public, showcasing self-driving technology.
  • Safely recover driverless vehicles and assist passengers in unexpected situations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated de-escalation skills in safety-critical, high-tension situations.
  • Crisis management skills or experience.
  • At least 6 months of emergency response experience.
  • Clean driving record and at least 3 years of driving experience.
  • Comfort with technology and tools like laptops, GSuite, and Chrome OS.
  • Stellar communication skills to handle high-pressure situations with grace.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and occasional travel.
  • Must be 21+ years old with a high school diploma (degree in applied sciences is a plus).
  • Ability to type 40+ words per minute.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English at B2 proficiency level.
  • Must pass a background check, drug test, and physical.
  • Physical stamina for long hours of sitting.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of 911 telecommunications experience or similar (preferred).
  • Relevant experience in crisis management, suicide prevention, first response, AV emergency support, air traffic control, fire/EMS dispatching, or remote roadside assistance support.

Pay

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position across US locations. Actual salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and geographic location.
