About the Role

This is a highly visible, customer-facing position for someone who is confident, personable, professional, and comfortable speaking on camera. In this role, you will work closely with our technicians and service team to document the condition, diagnostic findings, recommendations, and progress of customer vehicles. You will use video to personally explain what is happening with each vehicle, helping customers better understand their vehicle’s needs and keeping them informed throughout the service and repair process.

Responsibilities

  • Film yourself providing professional video updates on customer vehicles
  • Conduct and document video vehicle inspections and walkarounds
  • Clearly explain mechanical and diagnostic findings in a way customers can easily understand
  • Communicate the current status of vehicles throughout the repair process
  • Explain technician recommendations, required repairs, maintenance needs, and safety concerns
  • Work closely with technicians to understand diagnostic findings and repair recommendations
  • Translate technical automotive terminology into clear, customer-friendly language
  • Capture photos and video of vehicle concerns, damaged components, repairs, and recommended services
  • Ensure customers receive timely and accurate updates regarding their vehicles
  • Maintain a professional, friendly, and trustworthy on-camera presence
  • Follow up with customers regarding inspection findings and vehicle status as directed
  • Help create transparency and confidence throughout the customer’s service experience
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding each vehicle
  • Assist the Service and Management teams with customer communication as needed
  • Represent the company professionally in every customer interaction
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced automotive service environment
  • Be flexible and willing to assist with additional duties and assignments as needed

Requirements

  • Extremely comfortable speaking on camera
  • Must be fluent in Spanish and English
  • Confident, energetic, and personable personality
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to explain complicated information in a simple, easy-to-understand manner
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and presentation
  • Comfortable filming yourself using a mobile phone or camera
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate accurately and professionally with customers and technicians
  • Ability to learn automotive terminology, systems, and mechanical concepts
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Highly organized and responsible
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to follow direction and company procedures
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Previous automotive experience is a plus
  • Previous customer service, service advising, video, media, sales, or communications experience is a plus

Qualifications

  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Spanish
  • High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Automotive knowledge or experience is strongly preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Must be comfortable using smartphones, video equipment, and basic computer applications
  • Must be comfortable learning and using dealership/service management software
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License
  • Clean driving record
  • Professional demeanor and appearance

The ideal candidate is someone who can walk up to a vehicle, turn on a camera, and confidently explain what they are seeing without hesitation. You should be able to take a technician’s diagnosis and turn it into a clear explanation that makes sense to the customer. You are comfortable talking to people, comfortable on camera, and passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience.
