Responsibilities
- Supervise the sales team and oversee all practices in the vehicle showroom
- Manage the sales, appraisal, purchase, reconditioning, display, and merchandising of the used vehicle inventory
- Hire, train, and evaluate sales staff to ensure they are customer-focused
- Maintain profitability of the department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction
- Uphold the highest ethical standards
Requirements
- At least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of used car management experience preferred; high-performing automotive Sales Consultants are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience managing, hiring, and developing employees preferred
- Ability to perform all job functions including bending, standing, lifting, and reaching
- Ability to forecast and achieve sales and profit goals
- Excellent computer skills and detail-oriented ability

Schedule
The typical schedule for a Sales Manager is Monday through Saturday with one day off during the week. Sales Managers are typically scheduled for 45-48 hours per week.
