Automotive Service Writer / Service Advisor

Responsibilities

• Service advisors call with estimates and maintenance recommendations
• Create Digital Vehicle Inspections of service and maintenance recommendations
• Building estimates for service and maintenance
• Quality Control Inspections after work is completed
• Maintain customer Retention Strategies and create monthly specials

Requirements

• Experience in assignment of jobs and acquiring parts for technicians
• General Repair Knowledge to write estimates and direct diagnostic flow
• Ability to Perform Inspections for basic repair direction
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Inventory maintenance, ordering parts and return of cores
• Assess customer needs, build estimates and get customer approval for repairs
• Highly organized

Skills

• Experience with Diagnostic Tools
• Estimating and Pricing Experience
• Background in Merchandising
• Knowledge of Retail Operations
• Experience with Stocking and Inventory
• Napa Trac's knowledge (Mitchell Pro Demand is the same)
• Able to communicate with customers (happy and sad)

Pay

Minimum Salary: $50,960.00 – Maximum Salary: $71,050.00
