About the Role
Dennis Sneed Ford is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our Service Department. We are looking for a professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, building lasting customer relationships, and serving as the communication link between our customers and technicians. Our Service Advisors play a vital role in creating a positive ownership experience by combining strong customer service, mechanical aptitude, and effective communication to ensure every repair begins with a clear understanding of the customer's concerns and ends with exceptional service.
Customer Experience
- Welcome customers promptly and professionally.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and ask thoughtful follow-up questions.
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
- Explain completed repairs, maintenance recommendations, and available services.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from arrival through vehicle delivery.
Technical Knowledge
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automotive systems.
- Translate customer concerns into clear, detailed repair orders.
- Working knowledge of dealership service technology, manufacturer procedures, and diagnostic tools.
- Effectively communicate with technicians, the parts department, and customers throughout the repair process.
- Present maintenance recommendations and repair information in a professional, easy-to-understand manner.
Professional Skills
- Prioritize multiple repair orders while maintaining attention to detail.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Build productive working relationships with customers, technicians, and fellow team members.
- Exercise sound judgment and professionalism in every customer interaction.
- Contribute to an efficient, team-oriented Service Department.
Requirements
- Previous Automotive Service Advisor experience in a dealership environment.
- Ford dealership experience strongly preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automotive service operations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift.
