About the role

As a Service Advisor at Gossett Motor Cars, you'll serve as the vital link between customers, technicians, and management. Your daily responsibilities include greeting customers, translating their concerns into technician language, explaining technical issues, recommending maintenance, writing estimates, tracking vehicle progress, answering inquiries, updating customers, explaining repair invoices, maintaining professionalism, and more.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers before they can say, "I only need one quick thing."
• Translating customer concerns into technician English.
• Explaining that "a weird noise" is not an official manufacturer fault code.
• Recommending maintenance before the vehicle begins communicating exclusively through warning lights.
• Writing estimates.
• Tracking vehicle progress while simultaneously answering phones, emails, texts, and existential questions.
• Updating customers.
• Explaining repair invoices.
• Maintaining professionalism when someone says, "But YouTube said it would cost $12."

Qualifications

• Service advisor experience preferred
• Positive attitude required
• Sales experience is a plus
• CIS-focused
• Must be capable of smiling while hearing the phrase, "Can you knock a little off the price?"
