Automotive Service Advisor
About the role
Join a dealership built on honest work and real growth. For over 90 years, Farris Motor Company has earned trust by doing business the right way. We're family-owned, locally rooted in East Tennessee, and we operate three locations serving the Morristown and Jefferson City communities. We're not looking for people who mentally clock out at five. We're looking for Service Advisors who genuinely care about customers, who want to build real relationships, and who see this job as the beginning of something bigger.

- Recommend appropriate maintenance or repair services based on findings and genuine customer care
- Build lasting relationships with customers through trust and integrity in every interaction
- Verify and update customer contact information accurately during each visit
- Utilize computer and tablet systems to document and complete service records with attention to detail
- Work as part of a 2-3 person advisor team, supporting each other to accomplish shared goals
- Measure your own performance on what actually matters: happy customers who believe we care

- Reliability: You show up, you're on time, and you're mentally present when customers need you
- Basic automotive knowledge is helpful, but not required—we'll teach you
Qualifications
We don't require prior service advisor experience. We don't require prior automotive industry experience. What we require is character and hunger. If you've worked in customer service, that's a plus.
