Automotive Service Advisor

Tate Boys Tire & Auto Service has proudly served our community since 1936. We specialize in everything that rolls—from passenger and light truck tires to medium truck, industrial, agricultural tires, plus mechanical repairs like brakes, suspension, and engine diagnostics. Responsibilities
- Warmly greeting customers in person and by phone using our professional standards
- Listening carefully to customer concerns and thoroughly documenting their needs
- Reviewing service history, inspecting vehicles, and verifying repair requirements
- Recommending products and services confidently and clearly
- Accurately preparing quotes, timelines, and repair orders
- Communicating status updates throughout the day
- Reviewing completed work, explaining warranties, and handling checkout
- Tracking all returns, warranty parts, and core parts for each customer
- Supporting the team with other duties as needed
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Prior experience as a Service Advisor highly preferred but not required
- Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a process-driven environment
- Valid driver’s license (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays (but never Sundays!)

Pay
$60,000 – $80,000 per year, depending on experience
Schedule
Minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays (but never Sundays!)
