About the role
Join Group 1 Automotive as a customer-focused, professional Automotive Service Advisor. As the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, you'll build lasting relationships, provide trusted guidance, and help customers maintain their vehicles with confidence. We are accepting resumes at the following locations:
- Group 1 Honda South San Antonio
- Group 1 Chevrolet Northwest
- Mercedes-Benz of Boerne
- Group 1 Volkswagen Alamo Heights
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, ensuring an outstanding service experience from start to finish.
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle service needs.
- Recommend maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle inspections.
- Communicate repair recommendations, costs, and timelines clearly and effectively.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely vehicle delivery.
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
- Review completed work with customers and explain services performed.
- Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Consistently meet or exceed customer satisfaction and sales performance goals.
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and business partners.
Requirements
- Previous Automotive Service Advisor experience required.
- Previous dealership experience is strongly preferred.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong sales aptitude with the ability to recommend maintenance and repairs needed.
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic.
- Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer and technology skills.
- Goal-oriented with a desire to achieve performance objectives.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
