Automotive Service Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a Service Advisor to join the automotive service department at a busy GM dealership.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and schedule appointments for repairs
• Determine the type of service required on vehicles
• Write up repair orders in the computer system
• Estimate costs of repairs
• Direct a team of technicians
• Confer with customers and advise them on care and maintenance of vehicles
• Telephone customers to request permission to proceed with additional needed repairs
• Maintain high customer satisfaction standards
